Not a bit of darkening, crossbills, twittering
of voltage, see this side of giraffes in slow building
hungry on sand and the foundations for tomorrow
prepared, that was the twist: everything transparent

incomprehensible and. The nights spoke Pidgin
with the pack, say, the rabble chased
a white eyelids circling hours,
sounds for something that did not reach us.

staff of the dreams of our early half of this stone
dim brain, we played
islanders who surprised the mainland, the flow of traffic
, Missing. Repetitions

Holungen. What made from the other side: a danger,
which should save us from another, and through which
glasses, as we overdid it with our broken?
The blackened half the thing we in spite of the sun

not quite disappeared, she left us
almost lilac bushes. What I remember is our
waiting, huddled together on the road.
